Bear Tracks Decade 60's

|

Is the Bear Tracks Decades 60's still current and up and running? I see only posts from 2005, am I missing something? I would like to participate on the iste but it appears as though it's inactive according to what I've read of the posts. Anyone?

1967 Year Book Request

|

Hi fellow babies, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can snag a copy of a 1967 year book. I have '65, '66, & '68, but I would like a copy of my graduation year of 1967. I've been told that I can view a copy at the high school library while I'm searching for a copy. Maybe someone is willing to part with a copy for whatever reason and we can negotiate. Mean while, here's a web site someone just sent that I think all you Bears will dig: http://oldfortyfives.com/DYRT.htm It's an oldies site with music and other kewl stuff. Enjoy.

Music for the Site?

|

I just found the site! Glad to see there's a Bears Den! I've come out of hibernation to make a suggestion. I was just listening to the 50's & 60's Oldies Sirius radio station and heard "Be True to Your School", and thought that would be great for background site music, if the copyright laws will allow same! I wish I had found this earlier, cuz I missed the THE BOP!!!!! Sounds like it was a cool & fun time had by all! Keep up the good work!

Go Bears! (Beat Castleberry!!!!!---LOL)

Bop Party

|

Well, in case you didn't make it to the Bop Party on April 14th at the VFW in White Settlement, you missed the party of the year!! It was a great time and I just want to thank the many people who worked so hard to make it happen: Mary Kay Pennington, Mary Kemp and both her sons, Jimmie Lou Pennington, and Erma Barnes. I'm sure there were more behind the scenes participants that I'm not aware of but they all did such a great job. The entertainment was nostalgic and so much fun and the food was wonderful. Not to mention the company!!!!!

WENDY VORHOLT

|

I am looking for my old buddy, Wendy Vorholt, class of 77. Last I knew she was living in Arlington, but I haven't heard from her in several years. I would love to track her down if anyone can help!

Thanks!

Some of the goals set in previous meetings have already been reached
including the establishment of a website by Raymond Forsythe for
ex-students to find out information about the association among other
things. All ex-students can access information about future and ongoing

You can also post some information about yourself and an email address just in case someone might be looking for you.
